- EQP have ability to support the ward.
- The Bishop has weaknesses.
- You should be asking what you need to do to support the Bishop.
- Bishop does not have enough time to see every ward member.
- We have the ability to not need Bishops time because others are in more need.
- Bishop asks who are the assigned ministering brothers in the ward council, work with that then.
- In the Sunset Ward the EQP and the Bishop are working separately. We need to be more aligned with the Bishop.
- Lighten the load of the Bishop.
Things to keep an eye out for
- Ask about family milestones eg. Child Baptisms etc.
- Prospective Elders Progress
- Responsible for Quorum Welfare and Spirituality
- Gospel Ordinances - Covenants.
- Get ward report and focus on that
- Understand the oath and covenant of the priesthood - DC 84:33 to 39
