Two principles to become home centred and church supported
- Ask in our church meetings, what did you learn about the Savior and the Gospel this week in your home
We need to learn [about the gospel) for ourselves. Parents have a sacred duty to raise their children in righteousness
If all youknow about Jesus Christ is about what others have taught you, then our foundations of the Gospel is built upon sand.
Knowledge of these things can only be obtained by experiences through the ordinaces of God.
Summarized basic implications:
- The ultimate missionary training centre is in our homes
- Most instructive sunday school classes should be individual and family study
- Family history centres are in our homes
- Temple preparation classes occur in our homes
Making our homes sanctuaries is important.
Because we love the Lord we should always speak about the Temple in reverence We should not discuss symbols learnt about in the Temple We may discuss the basic purposes for and doctrines of associated with Temple Ordinances.
